Halifax Insurance Ireland Ltd has announced the appointment of Cian Quilty to the position of Sales Service Director at its Shannon outlet. ![]() He joins the Shannon-based company from NeuPath, a business consultancy practice he established in 2006. Previously, Mr Quilty held senior management and commercial positions in some of Ireland's best-known brand and blue-chip companies, including JacobFruitfield, Dairygold, Cadbury and Almarai (Middle East dairy market leader). The new Halifax executive also holds an Executive MBA from the Smurfit Business School, UCD. "Cian has an impressive track record in sales and running highly successful business operations. His wealth of experience will be invaluable in helping drive a number of development opportunities for Halifax Insurance Ireland Ltd," said Michael Warren, Director of Halifax Insurance Ireland Ltd. Speaking on his appointment Cian Quilty said he was "delighted" to be joining a "dynamic company" "I would like to be at the forefront of bringing a high-performance marketing and service operations business unit to the next level of success," Mr Quilty said. The former business consultant joins the Board of Directors of Halifax Insurance Ireland Ltd and Halifax Assurance Ireland Ltd. Based in Shannon, Co Clare, Halifax Insurance Ireland Ltd is a subsidiary of HBOS plc, one of the UK's largest banks and the company specialises in creditor insurance for HBOS customers. Business functions located at the Halifax Insurance Ireland offices at Shannon Free Zone include Underwriting, Customer Services, Direct Sales, Product & Market Development, Finance, IT and Human Resources. |
