Having completed a two year course which saw them study a wide range of subjects including Maths, English, Irish, French, Home Economics, Drama and Art, Leisure Studies, Music, Office Skills, last Wednesday was the culmination of a lot of hard work and effort.

LCA Coordinator Noreen Murphy was delighted with the results saying: “I am just so proud of them and it was lovely to see how happy they were with their results. It gives them a great foundation for their future with two starting further studies in September and the other four looking to join the workforce.”

Director of Limerick Youth Service, Catherine Kelly added: ‘We are all delighted for the Class of 2008 and we wish them well in all their future endeavours.”

Limerick Youth Service was established in 1973 and now works with over 3,000 young people annually throughout Limerick city and county.
