Limerick schools have received over €6,000 in funding as part of the Travel and Accommodation Grant Scheme provided by the BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition. Schools in Limerick have benefited from grants totalling €6,400 as part of the grant scheme to date.

Next year will be the fourth year BT has offered the grant to schools with projects competing in the exhibition in January at the RDS.

The BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition Travel and Accommodation Grant allows schools, situated 70kms or more from the RDS in Ballsbridge, Dublin, the opportunity to apply for financial assistance towards accommodation costs. The Exhibition takes place January 6-10. Visit www.btyoungscientist.com.
