From the first tune, the infectious 'No Strings' through to the epic ballad 'Sit A While', you can almost hear the bands' breath on every track on their raucous debut album.

Over the last few years they have each had a wild ride through the industry playing with Paddy Casey, Damien Dempsey and Laura Izibor amongst others and working with producers like George Drakoulis, Mike Hedges, John Cornfield and Jim Lowe. Live, Sixteen Layers deliver a passion in their performance that befits their album.

Completing the line-up for Green and Live Sessions 15 at Upstairs in Dolan's on Thursday June 25 is Cork band Silo and Ennis punk rockers The Buzzmonkeys. Doors open at 8pm and admission is free.
