Based in Bath, but led by Irishman Peter O’Sullivan, Cars In Walls make a return to Limerick for a gig in Baker Place on Sunday, November 25. With a number of members passing through the band over the past few years, the current five-piece line-up, which has beenin existence since December 2006, is the sturdiest yet.
Citing influences such as Arcade Fire and Sigur Ros, Cars In Walls delicately melt the lines between epic and lo-fi.
This Irish tour is to coincide with the launch of their debut single ‘Teacup’, which also features chanteuse Nina Hynes. Support on the night comes from The Lumieres and Red Eskimo. More info at www.myspace.com/carsinwalls |
