It’s a big week for windings, until now the ‘solo project’ steered by Steve Ryan of giveamanakick.

Firstly, windings are to perform a ‘full band’ show for the very first time, augmented by drums and a bassist/organist. This takes place upstairs at Dolan’s this Wednesday at 8pm. It’s a curtain raiser for the full band’s eagerly awaited show at the Electric Picnic this Saturday, when, just before midnight, they take to the stage for the ‘witching hour’ slot at the Body & Soul Compound. Check them out, and look out for an album later in the year.
