SiSi.tv, Irish dance legends, take to the Trinity Rooms this Saturday night.

First up, this Saturday, are Irish Dance music legends SiSi.tv, the artists formerly known as 110th Street.

SiSi.tv is Cyril Briscoe and Cian Ó Cíobháin who operate as DJs and producers from their Galway base.

Cian also presents An Taobh Tuathail (The Other Side), an alternative radio show, five nights a week on RTE RnaG from 11pm to 1am, with his own imaginative playlists.

From 1998 until recently, SiSi ran a very successful Saturday night club called 110th Street in their adopted town Galway. Through this seminal and much-loved club night, they carved a reputation as open-minded DJs with an interest in electronic music right across the board, from disco through house to electro and techno.

As promoters of 110th Street, SiSi were the first to give their Irish club debuts to Erol Alkan, 2ManyDJs, The Glimmers, Justice, Boys Noize & Housemeister and also hosted top drawer DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, Optimo, Boys Noize, The Avalanches' DJs, Tim Sweeney (DFA) and many many more. As producers they have remixed and re-worked such acts as Vitalic, Les Petit Pilous, Radioslave, Ost & Kjex, Riton, Doves, Mylo & The Japanese Popstars.

Most people who come along to a SiSi gig are guaranteed to have a whole lotta fun. The thing, is you never know what they might play-—it depends on who's on the dancefloor on the night. They've been known to dig out vintage Abba and 70s disco anthems but are equally adept playing twisted European techno at urban rave centres to people who don't bother sleeping at weekends.

Currently they can be heard playing disco, post-punk, indie, electro-pop and guilty pleasures at The Hive, in Galway's Bar 903 on the third Friday of each month.

They have also recently initiated Badger, a new seasonal event of underground disco, house, electro & minimal techno. The first three parties took place in Galway's Black Box in 2007.

SiSi have a new residency on Saturdays at The Cellar Underground, Galway once every three weeks. West coast legends 091 and the Disconauts host the other Saturdays.

110th Street, with support from Chris Moore, are in the Clubhouse at Trinity Rooms, joining Paul Webb and Mac 3 across three rooms. Admission is free before 10.30pm and just €10 after.
