Gemma Hayes to give fans a taste of her new album |

GEMMA Hayes has announced an intimate show at Upstairs in Dolan’s on Saturday January 23 to preview material from her forthcoming fourth album.
The Tipperary singer is currently recording the new album in Los Angeles and France with long-time musical collaborator David Odlum.
Hayes burst onto the music scene in 2002 with her debut album ‘Night on My Side’, which was nominated for the UK’s prestigious Mercury Music Prize. She also won Best Female Artist at Ireland’s Hot Press Awards and has been garnering much international recognition, releasing two other albums and touring extensively. She has written songs with Adam Duritz of Counting Crows and Kevin Shields of My Bloody Valentine. Her music has been featured on a multitude of films and television shows including ‘Grey’s Anatomy’, ‘ER’, ‘Bored To Death’, and ‘Mr And Mrs Smith’.
Gemma Hayes visits Upstairs at Dolan’s on Saturday January 23. Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets costing €14 are now available from the Dock Road venue.
