The Green and Live Sessions continue to bring its Limerick audience the best new, contemporary Irish music around when it returns to Dolan's on Thursday April 24. Headlining this month's showcase is Dublin band My Brother Woody who have been creating quite a stir since the release of their stunning debut album 'It's A Long Way From That Sort Of Thing You Were Raised'. The band's Brian Wilson-esque sound has been described as 'fizzing with classic pop sentiment, surfing on a wave of saccharine keys, breathy doo-wops and mellifluous horns'. Also performing on the night is Cork chanteuse extraordainaire Femmepop who is guaranteed to blow you away with her exquisitely heartrending voice. A true talent, Femmepop has been lauded for having a set of pipes that would make 'Tanya Donnelly want to throw in the towel'. Completing the line-up of this second Green and Live Sessions showcase is Limerick's very own Seneca who are set to embark on an extensive US tour this summer to coincide with the release of their debut album 'Sweeter Than Bourbon'. Doors open at 8pm and admission is FREE.
