High: It has just been such a great year for music in Limerick. The High Stool and The Boat Club are gone but what made them great is actually stronger than ever before: and that's the support of Limerick people who love going to gigs. Any of the debut headliners we set up would be highlight of the year; Alkali Flat maybe. Screw it…all of them!

Hope: I’m actually giddy about a seven-piece band we’re putting on in February. The reviews on them are huge. They are equal parts Indie, Electronic and Hip-Hop, and the name says it all: Super Extra Bonus Party!

Ross is Venue Manager for Baker Place (www.myspace.com/gigtown).
