LEGENDARY: Billy Connolly.

The show—Too Old To Die Young—follows on from his sold-out, critically-acclaimed run in the US and will be his first appearance in Ireland in over ten years.

Universally considered to be Britain’s greatest living comedian, Billy Connolly has been described as “a genius”, his concerts “otherworldly” and his honesty “terrifyingly insightful”.

He has broken box office records from the UK to New Zealand and now land in Limerick for 3 nights only—bringing his hilarious take on all things taboo.

Too Old To Die Young is Billy at his best—uncensored, uncut and as unpredictable as ever.

“It's just territory that I know,” he said, “Anything that's uncomfortable is great to share with people. It's not necessarily about age, it's about discomfort.”

From the early days, the type of audience Billy attracted at live performances was as diverse as his material and his two-week sell out run at the London Palladium was attended by the likes of Elton John, Bob Hoskins, George Michael, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr and Twiggy.

Bill Connolly has also extended his talent into many fields—writing plays and acting among them. He has starred in television series’ including Head of the Class and counts co-stars such as Richard Burton, Dame Judi Dench, Michael Caine and Michelle Pfeiffer among his film colleagues.

Billy started the tour in Australia in 2006 and it completed a six week theatre run at the off-Broadway 37 Arts Theatre in New York and towards the end of the year sold out a month long tour of Canada.

In 2007 the tour travelled to England and Wales, selling out every venue.

Don’t miss this opportunity. Tickets are on sale at €45 and €55 and booking is on 061-331549 or online at www.uch.ie.
