PETER Dee Academy of Music is running a new Guitar and Home Recording Basics course from Monday October 27 to Friday November 31.

Devised with the guitar player/ home recording enthusiast in mind, the course will cover all you need to know from plugging your guitar into your pc to burning a finished song to CD or mp3 format. The aim of the course is to give novice home recording enthusiasts a better understanding of the capabilities and recording power that most of us have already sitting on a desk at home.
Students will get the chance to record themselves, either with an instrument or vocals during the course. Students will also learn about microphones, EQ, guitar, vocal and instrument recording, effects, mixing and audio mastering.
Having some form of recording workstation at home would be an advantage but not essential.
For enrolment forms and enquiries contact Tom on 086-6297944 or Tony on 086-1612641. Alternatively you can email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
