![]() Starlets in the Making: Catch Red Blooded Women at Trinity Rooms this Saturday. This Saturday May 10, Trinity Rooms hosts a special guest appearance by Red Blooded Women, tipped to be the next big girl band. This DIY trio of London gals make pristine dancefloor pop calculated to perfection, and will make an impression this Saturday as special guests in the main room. Red Blooded Women’s influences run the gamut from Abba and the Carpenters through to Daft Punk and Depeche Mode, so expect a thrilling three-song performance this Saturday. The group has been working on a bunch of songs which have turned out to be as drastically different and edgy as they have promised.
Catch them live in the main room this Saturday, while in the courtyard, the daring duo of Leon and A2DF welcome Ireland’s premier human beatbox, Whitenoise to their monthly Getdown Party. White Noise, the alter-ego of beatboxer iCan Sayles, uses vocal skills to imitate instrumentation and percussion. He has been performing live since December 2001, having notched up around 300 live appearances as a solo artist and in collaborative pieces with acts like Choice Music prize winners, Superextrabonusparty. Besides vocal skill, Cian often uses live looping and sound technology to achieve vocals works that will rock the party every time! Admission is free before 10pm and just €10 after with concession.
