From the author of smash hit comedy ‘Alone it Stands’, regarded as one of the most successful plays in Irish history, comes a new romantic comedy, ‘Falling out of Love’.

This hilarious new romantic comedy by John Breen will be at LIT Millennium Theatre in the author’s hometown on November 22 and 23.

Barry loves Audrey and is going to bungee off the roof of her building to win her back. David has just broken Ciara’s heart and now she is going to break his furniture. Edward has been carrying out a secret sexual experiment on Fiona for three weeks and she hasn’t even noticed!

Three relationships, two proposals, one doomed sofa. What do they all have in common?  Falling out of love—because there is nothing as funny as other people’s misery!

According to Limerick author John Breen; “I think the experience of being heartbroken is one of the most vivid experiences a person can have.  I wanted to look at this experience and explore the crazy ways that falling out of love makes people behave’

Directed by acclaimed director Mikel Murfi and featuring a cast of eight sparkling performers including, in order of appearance, Aaron Monaghan, Elaine O’Dea, Conor Delaney, Tony McKenna, Simone Kirby, Kelly Gough, Alan Howley and Deborah Wiseman.

Tickets for the play are €22.50 with concession of €20 (booking fee applies).
