MIDLANDS-based outfit The Aftermath return to Dolan's on Wednesday May 27 after a successful UK tour to promote their new single 'Northern Lingerie'.
A band that is rarely off the road, The Aftermath's never-ending tour this year has seen them play practically every Irish festival. 2008 saw them end the year on a high note with a nationwide tour with one of the biggest UK acts of the past couple of years, The Pigeon Detectives, as well as a Dublin show with the legendary The Stunning and an appearance on The Last Broadcast with Dave Fanning on Network 2.
Work has already started on The Aftermath's sophomore album with former Cranberries man Noel Hogan shaping demos and recording is due to begin this autumn.
Their debut album 'Friendlier Up Here' has been a huge commercial and critical success, and with a couple of singles keeping them in the charts over the past 12 months, The Aftermath is one of Ireland's best-selling independent acts.
Catch them live Upstairs at Dolan's on Wednesday May 27. Doors open at 8pm and admission is €6.
