A HOMETOWN gig is now definitely not on the cards for Limerick rock group The Cranberries, with the announcement this week that fans will have to travel down the road to Cork to see them perform on June 29.
Currently out on the road for their first European dates in seven years, the band will play Leeside as part of the now legendary ‘Live At The Marquee’ summer shows. Tickets for The Cranberries Cork gig go on sale this Friday, March 5 and cost €54.80.
Having reformed late last year after a six year hiatus, the Limerick outfit have returned to rave reviews and sold outs shows on their recent tours of the U.S. and South America. So enthused were Island Records by the reunion that they released ‘Bualadh Bos: The Cranberries Live’ featuring concert highlights of their glory years between 1994 and 1998.
