It’s an exciting time at the award-winning nightclub, The Trinity Rooms.
The venue has just confirmed an exclusive set for Easter Sunday by ‘Ocean’s 11’ soundtrack genius DJ David Holmes. Holmes’ appearance comes on the heels of a set by the acclaimed DJ and producer Sebastian Leger.
Sunday March 16, the eve of St Patrick’s Day sees the acclaimed Fishgodeep return to the Michael Street venue. Among the most influential Irish music DJs of the modern age, Fishgodeep (Greg Dowling and Shane Johnson) have now moved onto a global stage through releases on labels like Defected and Brique Rouge, dj dates from Ministry of Sound to Paris Rex Club and every other classy dancefloor in the world. Not to be missed, but don’t forget the show in store on Saturday March 15, when Kormac Live joins the club’s funk and soul resident A2df. Any live show featuringa double bass player, a barbershopquartet, a trumpet player and percussionist, playing literally everything from drums to kitchen sinks, alongside Kormac on turntables and keys, has to worth seeing ! And when the band have played alongside DJ Numark (Jurassic 5), DJ Food (Ninja Tunes), DJ Craze (USA), DJ Premiere (Gangstar), Nas, The Herbaliser Band and also performed to a packed tent at this yearsElectric Picnic Festival, you know it’s going to be amazing.
Just the thing to prepare you for Fishgodeep when they arrive on Sunday to join Trinity Rooms mainstay Paul Webb for a four hour excursion in house music. Admission is €10 on both nights, and concessions are available from 10pm. |
