Well, it's finally here—the most talked about birthday of the Year as Trinity Rooms hosts a weekend long Birthday Party to celebrate 5 years at the top of the national clubbing tree.

Invites for the Friday night have like gold dust but the good news is that on the Saturday night, tickets will be available on the door from 8pm as Trinity Rooms celebrate its 5th Birthday with the nation via a whopping six—hour live broadacast over the airwaves, via 2FM.

The Trinity Rooms courtyard area in full swing during the venue's fourth birthday celebrations in 2007 — expect more of the same, only even more colourful, this weekend!

Friday July 4 (which is, of course, US Independence Day) will see the entire venue transformed into not one but three distinct party zones, all themed after the most exciting cities in the biggest and most exciting little country in the world, the US of A!

New York will be represented by burlesque showgirls, contortionists and more, performing on a specially commissioned stage set with a seven piece live funk and swing band and, as if all that excitement was not enough, a very special performance at midnight by one of the world's biggest female diva's!

Swing on over to the Vegas themed play area, to experience the thrill of a high rolling casino and spot the famous faces behind the tables, champagne fountains. Here, you will be able to enjoy the sweetest R&B and hip-hop, with some very special guests.

In Miami the heat is on, and an uber chic white-themed area will see one of the hottest dance acts of the moment thrill punters, along with ice bars, complimentary massage tables, an eight-piece percussion supergroup, and much, much more!

Joe Clarke of the Trinity Rooms pointed out that the venue always liked to organise something very special for their anniversaries.

"We always see our Birthday Party's as a way to give something back to the thousands of guests who choose to come and party with us each week, and as the date fell right back on Friday July 4th, which was our opening date five years ago, we are really pulling out all the stops for this one," Joe told the Limerick Independent

But that is not all. Saturday July 5th, sees national radio station 2FM take the Trinity Rooms vibe nationwide, joining the venue for their celebrations with an unprecedented six-hour live broadcast from the club, showcasing the venue's original resident DJs, Paul Webb and Johnny Da Bomb, with a hour set from the main room from 11pm.
