The Atlantic Connectivity Alliance received the Specsavers Media Merit Award at the Mid-West Press Ball in Bunratty on Saturday night, as its Vice-Chairman, Ken Sullivan, warned that the “clock is ticking” on Government action.
Mr Sullivan made the remarks about the urgency attached to the Shannon crisis after the news that airline British Midlands decided not to add new routes at the airport.
