LIMERICK businesses with receptionists who they feel are worthy of the title ‘Receptionist of the Year’ can now show their appreciation and gratitude by nominating them for such an award.

This is the second year of the Oyster Receptionist of the Year Awards, which will take place at Dublin’s Shelbourne Hotel on November 7 next. The Oyster Group established the award last year to acknowledge the pivotal role receptionists play in so many Irish businesses.

Limerick businesses should take note that a panel of experts will be looking for a receptionist who can demonstrate efficiency and multi-tasking skills, excellent communication and customer service skills, personal initiative and someone who has distinguished themselves within their organisation.

Each category winner will be presented with a trophy and a cash prize while the overall winner will receive the Oyster Receptionist of the Year handcrafted trophy and a cheque for a luxury holiday-for-two.
