Polish nationals living in Limerick will be able to vote from the Treaty City in their homelands upcoming General Election, which takes place on October 21.

The leader of Poland's main opposition party visited Ireland last week ahead of Poland’s General Election later this month.

The latest census says over 60,000 Poles are resident in Ireland while other estimates say the figure is at least double that.

Polish people living here have until October 16 to register to vote. On polling day, Poles will be able to cast their vote in one of three ballot stations in Limerick, Cork, or Dublin.
