FORD has struck a deal with the AA Driving School to provide 8,000 cars over three years.
Ford has supplied the AA Driving School for the last 12 years, will provide more than 2,700 cars a year under the new deal.
The contract will see 1.4 litre Fiestas introduced alongside the 1.6 litre Ford Focus, which is currently the mainstay of the AA Driving School fleet. The AA said the move came in response to feedback from instructors and pupils seeking a choice of vehicles.
The new cars will be rolled out from February to more than 1,800 franchised AA Driving School instructors across the UK, and replaced at eight-month intervals.
