Peugot believes that the new 207 SW model is sure to continue the success story of the new Peugeot 207 hatchback, best selling car in Europe (May 2007).

It follows in the footsteps of the 206 SW, best selling estate car in the European B2 segment from its first year of introduction in 2003.

The new Peugeot 207 SW comes with an optional full length glass panoramic roof and standard innovative rear seat folding mechanism, with the aim of appealing to customers with a full and active lifestyle.

The latest addition to the 207 stable will retail in Ireland from €17,475 plus dealer delivery related charges.

Inspired by the strong style and design of the 207 hatchback, the Peugeot 207 SW gains more space, brightness, modularity and practicality all contained in a balanced stylish design.

Sharing the same wheelbase as the 207 five door hatchback but with an increased length of 119 mm and 38 mm extra height, the 207 SW provides more rear headroom and interior space.

This extra length also creates a larger rear load space of 428 litres (310 litres for the 207 Hatchback) and with the rear seats folded, 1433 litres.

The 207 SW will be available from launch fitted with a 1.4 75bhp petrol engine and in three trim levels, S, SE and ST, whilst an SX version will be a special order model.

Standard equipment on all models includes power steering, driver airbag, passenger airbag, side airbags, remote control central locking with deadlocks, three rear three-point inertia reel seatbelts, electric front windows, 2/3 – 1/3 split folding rear seat, steering column adjustable for reach and rake, steering wheel audio controls for the radio / single CD player, ABS with EBFD and EBA, trip computer and fasten seat belt warning system.

The SE level gains rear head restraints, electric and heated door mirrors, curtain airbags. The ST level further gains the Cielo panoramic glass roof and roof bars.

The special order SX model benefits further from manual air conditioning, front fog lights, opening tailgate window and alloy wheels.
