Page 1 of 2 Scouting History 2000 Meetings with single agendas “One Association” were taking place throughout the country, final decisions were to be made and outstanding issues were being discussed. Scouting Ireland (SI) was agreed in June 2003. It was established by members of CSI formally CBSI (Catholic Boy Scouts of Ireland) and SAI (Scout Association of Ireland) on January 1st 2004.
The 21st World Scout Jamboree (“One World One Promise”) took place last year 2007 in.Hylands Park in England with over forty thousands scouts from one hundred countries in attendance. Management Meeting Wednesday 12th March (8.30pm) is the date for the next meeting the venue is St Josephs Scout Den. Group leaders or their representatives are encouraged to attend.
23rd Limerick Caherdavin The Venturers are having a BBQ and Fancy Dress Party on Saturday March 15th. The evening will start at 7.30 with the BBQ and we expect to end around midday the following day. The theme for the fancy dress is “A night at the Movies”, so be creative.
