Brahms show to feature Mairead’s vocal talents

COUNTY Limerick soprano Mairead Buicke will perform as part of the Brahms Chamber Music Series at All Saints Church, Castleconnell on October 14. The programme is a mixture of Brahms, the featured composer in the series, and Robert Schumann, his friend and champion.

LAST Wednesday saw Limerick’s only comedy club kick off its 2008 season in it’s new home at Trinity Rooms. Schnitzel will take place every second Wednesday and the first night was a complete sell out with everyone’s favourite television busybody Jake Stevens aka PJ Gallagher playing to a huge crowd in the club’s main room.
