Ramblers pack their bags for City show

THE Louisiana-bred Red Stick Ramblers have been astonishing audiences at dancehalls, festivals and concert halls around the world since 2002, when they emerged from Baton Rouge. Now this talented roots band promise a show that balances the hard-driving and heartbreaking sound of the Red Stick Ramblers in full flight, at once achingly familiar and infectiously surprising, when they take to the stage at Upstairs in Dolan's this Wednesday, September 30.

Irish music legends return to the Millennium Theatre

THE Fureys and Davey Arthur take to the stage at LIT Millennium Theatre on Saturday October 10. The band celebrated their 30th anniversary last year with the release of a live DVD/CD recorded in Vicar Street, Dublin. The Furey Brothers and Davey Arthur are responsible for some of the most stirring music ever to capture the public imagination.
