Limerick women are being urged to consider improving their fitness in a fun way by taking pole dancing classes, which are being run in the city from August 11 to September 15.

Limerick Fianna Fáil, John Cregan, has welcomed the announcement that Oola Community Alert is to receive €3,300 for improving the security of elderly people in the area and has encouraged other community groups to apply for similar funding.
