Laptop theft hits home

It’s emerged that several Limerick people have been contacted by the Department of Social and Family Affairs to inform them that personal data belonging to them was contained on a laptop, which was lost in April 2007.
 
County town braced for 'flood report'

Householders and businesses in Newcastle West will be told the extent of the damage to premises and properties in the town from freak flooding two weeks ago. A special report into the flood will be unveiled at a public meeting on Tuesday, September 2.

An outbreak of harmful bug, E-Coli has sparked a second boil water notice to residents in Pallasgreen, County Limerick by Limerick County Council, following consultation with the Health Service Executive (HSE).
