Collins declares new class funds

Ten schools throughout Limerick  county are set to benefit from fresh funding which is aimed at improving access to high-tech equipment in the classroom, according to Limerick West Fianna Fáil TD Niall Collins.

Garda project is welcomed

The Government’s decision to approve a Garda Youth Diversion Project in Newcastlewest will help promote civic responsibility and tackle social challenges like vandalism and binge drinking, according to Limerick West Fianna Fáil TD John Cregan.  

For once I am happy to start this week with praise… and in bucketfuls.

I have never had recourse to summon the fire brigade for assistance. But last week a neighbour rang me to say that a car was on fire outside my front gate.

Within minutes a fire crew was on the scene and had the blaze under control in their usual high standard manner.
