A QUALITY Live 95FM Limerick Senior Hurling Final is in store at the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday next (3.30pm) when Adare and Ahane contest the 113th such decider.
Although Ahane head the roll-of-honour with 19 titles, one ahead of Patrickswell, it’s the defending champions Adare that have been installed as favourites to win the championship and repeat their back-to-back wins of 2001 and ’02. Adare struggled somewhat in their quarter-final joust with Western Gaels but were much improved for their defeat of fancied Kilmallock in the last round.
