Dad’s Army is in fact very fortunate to have its own ace photographer Frank Junior Keane. Frank got a new camera from Santa and he captures anything that moves since then.

John Mooney is the hard working secretary while Brian Quinlivan is the society treasurer.

Plans are well in advance for ‘the away trip’ this year and the venue, chosen by the ace photographer, is Venice.

“There are a number of excellent courses in the vicinity” said Frank, “and they don’t all have water hazards”.

Captain Liam Moloney is eagerly looking forward to the trip as he says the lads can get in some much-needed training with their amphibious vehicles.

Johnny Irwin will lead the party and he can’t wait to try out the waterways in Venice.

“I wonder will they have any mackerel over there?” inquired Johnny.
