Valentine larks at launch of Bóthar initiative |

Rugby player Tommy Bowe and model Ruth Griffin share a joke at the launch of Limerick-based charity Bóthar’s Valentine’s Day Card initiative, funds from which will help provide a hive of native honeybees as well as protective clothing and training, for struggling families in Africa. The honey and wax produced by the bees are in high demand in local markets, while the bees will also pollinate trees and plants, thereby improving fruit and vegetable yields.
